kate earl's self titled cd is new to me even though
it made it's debut in aug09 & i'm loving it!
kate earl brings a little funky pop into the mix.
and after loving their 1st album (makes me want to dance),
but not so much loving their live performance at bonaroo08,
i'm crossing my fingers they've gained a little talent since
their first album, but have kept their unique style...
lastly, i cannot WAIT for this album to come out on 1.26.10!!

Ah! I love Corinne Bailey Rae! I think this album will be really good lyrically--she lost her husband while writing material for this album, I think. It was probably very therapeutic for her and therefore will be quite brilliant.
Kate Earl I've heard of, but I'm going to check out the second band later today! Thanks for the recommendation. I hope you saw my recommendation post from the weekend--Boyce Avenue is an AMAZING cover band!
