i finally got the chance to do a quick little "formal" mini shoot for my sister and her family in an effort to get a good Christmas card picture.  let me tell you that photographing family is a tad harder than you'd think.  niece #2 is totally over me putting the camera in her face, but overall they did great and i was pretty pleased with the images we got.  i mean, really how could pictures of these two lovies of mine be bad??  enjoy!!

meet my neighbors, {the caseys}.  i love them.  funny story is that i met them at the high school ministry, Advance, that we all volunteered and it took us months to figure out that we lived a block from each other.  heidi is also in my lifegroup and i just love her.  she and sam are awesome together.  they both share a love for soccer, the outdoors, and more importantly a passion for Jesus.  not to mention that they are a super fun couple and just radiate joy.  they needed some pictures for their Christmas cards so I met them at freedom park in charlotte, nc and we grabbed a few shots in the GORGEOUS fall terrain.  you can't tell from these pictures, but the park was swarming with people so props to them for making everything look so natural.
