{inspiration + creating = joy}

i love to create.

i love to be inspired.

i love to make things.

chalkboard paint is my weakness.

i long to have my own little workshop filled with tools (a girl can dream, right?) 

so i can cut, build, paint, draw, design... the list goes on and on.  

remember that dream of making my own furniture??  

it WILL happen one day.

creating brings me joy, so i'm a little excited about a few projects i'm 

dreaming up for the holidays thanks to these pinterest inspirations!

i REALLY want to do a wall in my bedroom like the one shown below.

fingers crossed i can make that happen in the next few months!

sometimes it pays to just stop and breathe.

when life seems to be a little rough, maybe overwhelming, remember this.

 

one thing that yoga teaches me is that your breath is an amazingly powerful tool.  breath can calm us, center us, stretch us.  last saturday i had the joy of taking an in store "boga" class taught by my friend katie of Kadi Fit at our local lululemon and she encouraged us in our breath, that

"sometimes in life, it just takes another breath 

to push us to where we thought we could never go"... 

so take a minute to breathe in life today!  

to remember what a majestic creation you are and remember...

i'm not sure how to put the last 2 weeks of life into proper words. pure joy. unexpected new chapters.  hearing the tenderness of the holy spirit lead and being obedient. restored old chapters. blessings. travel plans out west for an epic trip of a lifetime. friendships deepening and flourishing. travel plans to haiti.  what a blessing of a season. God is knocking my socks off with the depths of His love in the best way possible.  i'm doing my best to relish in the gratitude of every small thing and very excited where this season of life is heading...

{please excuse my lack of blogging...}

when the day comes that i'll be free from this office desk, i promise i'll blog more frequently!  i can not WAIT until that day!  i'm dreaming of being a wordsmith of more words than a random thought thrown together, being able to take pictures during the yummy daylight (darn you daylights savings time!!), and blogging galore!  i will do my best to keep blogging when i find time, but right now my crazy life as a single lady is keeping me BU-SY which is bad and good... thankfully it's mostly good because it keeps my days and nights full of friends, family, and fabulousness, but it has me ALL over the place! until my blogging is less sporadic you can find me here...
