i have a really big imagination. i'm always thinking up crazy things, fun ideas, & just plain off the wall things in my head & if my crazy dreams are any measure of my imagination, then it's way off the charts. so i can't imagine what could be past my farely large imagination. well, on my way home from work yesterday, i had a moment in my car. a song that i've heard many times before came on the radio. it was 'great expectations' by steven curtis chapman. for some reason while listening to the song this time, the words really hit me hard & i truly felt them. the chorus goes like this...

And see beyond my wildest imagination

As i listened, this song became almost a yearning prayer from my heart. i just began to think how many days do i doubt & think "all this is so unbelievable & inconceivable!" Only to realize what an amazing fact that i've been given the opportunity & been invited by Christ to do just as the chorus says. believe the unbelievable, receive the inconceivable, & see beyond even my wildest imagination... as big as it is! What an amazing prayer to just come to God with great expectations, that he can do amazing things with our lives. That's huge!! It's become my constant prayer to ask God to help me do as this chorus says & yes, in turn, i come with GREAT expectations! i challenge to you pray for great expectations today!
