say

the current sermon series at church starts off with john mayer's song, "say." it's a quiet little song, but has john's great, powerful vocals. i really like the lyrics to this song & also think it fits just perfect with the current series "your bucket list," which plays off the current movie "the bucket list." you can hear the song here & also check out last sunday's message on the "your bucket list" based on the relationship between husband & wife

Say by John Mayer
Take out of your wasted honor
Every little past frustration
Take all of your so called problems
Better put them in quotations
Say what you need to say...

Walkin like a one man army
Fightin with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you’d be better off instead
If you could only
Say what you need to say...

Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for getting older
You better know that in the end its better to say to much
Than to never to say what you need to say again

Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open
Why?
Say what you need to say...
