a lovely day to drive

oh what a lovely day it was today to drive to our house at beech mountain, nc. driving up the mountain from charlotte is one of my favorite things to do. i love rolling down the windows, turning up the music, & to just drive & enjoy the view. today was lucy's first trip to the mountains. she's had many rides in the car so far, but this was her first mountain trip. she loved all the smells the mountains had to offer. here are a few pics, thanks to my iphone, of our drive today.
