howl at the moon...

last saturday night i headed uptown with some friends & checked out the new dueling piano bar, howl at the moon. It's located in uptown's new development, the epicentre, which is at the intersection of trade st & college.  dale earnhardt jr's new bar, whiskey river, is located in the epicentre, as well as suite.  charlotte's night life seems to be growing quite rapidly.  the epicentre is a huge development that's mixed with bars, restaurants, shops, & a high rise condo building that is still under construction.

howl at the moon was a blast!!  if you've never been to a dueling piano bar, it's quite a production & a ton of fun.   it's obviously 2 pianos -- hence "dueling pianos" -- as well as many other pieces in the band such as a saxophone, bass guitar, & electric guitar. they played a wide variety of music, took song requests, & just had so much fun!  i definitely recommend it for anyone heading uptown that wants a new experience outside of your typical bar experience.  if you're ever in the charlotte area, definitely check it out!
