::watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. mostly what God does is love you. keep company with Him and learn a life of love. observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that:: ephesians 5:1-2
God blew me away with His extravagant love in Africa... His love for these people He knows by name in Africa, the orphans in the slums, the children in Gulu, the adults in the medical clinics, the football players on the field, the amazing Sports Outreach staff... and surprisingly He blew me away, yet again, for His deep, deep love for me.

very glad to report even after days 1 and 2 it was VERY evident that the Lord is alive and well and moving in BIG ways in Uganda.

april, I am not even sure how I ran across your blog- but I have been blessed by it. I've never been to africa, but it is a part of my heart and I've loved reading through your journey. and I LOVE the verse at the beginning. thanks for sharing- and I look forward to seeing more!
