a few lessons from today...

today was not so great, but could've been sooo much worse (thanks mom for putting life into perspective today). to make a long story short... these are the lessons i learned.

1. don't try getting a loaner car while your car is getting serviced without your driver's license.

2. don't get mad at yourself later when you realize your license was in your car at the dealership the whole time.

3. make sure to turn in keys to your rental house when your lease runs up... this could save you a lot of money & a lot of tears.

4. don't wait until 5 minutes before lunch to remember that you don't have a car & have to let your dogs out to pee.

5. when your oh-so-nice co-worker lends you her car to let your dogs out to pee... don't forget your house keys...

& the kicker...

6. don't have silly, stupid expectations about boys. you'll ultimately let yourself down. somehow i keep forgetting this one.

yeahhh.... it was one of THOSE days.

so i needed a little pick-me-up tonight.
